Dash the dachshund was the original inspiration behind The Sharper Barker. When he was a puppy, finding high-quality clothing options that actually fit him was impossible. He got cold easily and refused to go outside in the cold Canadian rain, but standard dog sweaters would slide off his deep chest or drag on the ground.

The Sharper Barker was created specifically to solve this struggle. Engineered with premium, ultra-stretchy bamboo fabrics and custom-cut proportions, our apparel naturally accommodates long bodies, broad shoulders, and deep chests.

Using our highly trusted, original 9-size framework, our signature clothing is tailored to perfectly fit hard-to-shop-for breeds like miniature dachshunds and French Bulldogs, while scaling comfortably to accommodate all unique dog shapes from 2 to 90+ pounds.
